At the Julia's Garden School, we believe a health body is an active body and that children are happiest when they have control of that body. Yoga practices, starting at age 2, in the classrooms and in our after-school program and camps from Shine Your Light Yoga, support this belief. Yoga is core-strengthening, offers opportunities for mindfulness and builds patience. It also supports impulse control, which is essential for successful work habits inside of the classroom.
If you would like more information on how yoga on campus can support your child, email Elisabeth McAllister at firstname.lastname@example.org for camps and classes offered at Julia's Garden this year.
